WHAT WE DO DIFFERENTLY.
The vast majority of our clients come from referrals from our previous, successfully registered clients. After all, its human nature to refer or recommend someone with whom you have had a good, life-changing experience.
So, what’s our approach ?
When we receive a client enquiry, we call on the same day, we ask lots of questions and, based on their suitability and rego readiness, we meet at one of our premises or meet on site , or in a (good) coffee shop, whatever is best for the client.
What is Rego Ready ??
In most registration categories, the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) wants the applicant to fill out its standard template and provide, gather the required information – to determine the applicant meets the criteria, which follows:-
- Three to five jobs involving start to finish jobs with full documentation.
- Full docos means building permits, working drawings, proof of identity, certification of certain documents.
- At least one technical referee, preferably the registered builder who provided the jobs with full documentation.
We have learned over the years that some of our state’s best builders can’t meet this criteria and we may have to help these guys for a year or so. We do what we have to do to put the client’s application together to meet the criteria and then prepare them to pass their assessments with the VBA.
What happens if the client doesn’t get through the first time?
We fully analyse what happened in the interview, work on any perceived weaknesses and submit again, when the client is ready.
